22/1/08 - Beehive Sounds are proud to be associated with the Looe Festival by the Sea 2008. Beehive Sounds will be providing recording services to two excellent choirs, The St Piran Singers, and the Looe Valley Singers, based here in Looe where Beehive Sounds is located. The aim is to produce CD's for each of the two choirs to sell during the festival and after in aid of local charities.

St Piran Singers

Formed in February 2006, and based in the beautiful South East Cornwall fishing port of Looe, the St Piran Singers are named after Cornwalls' Patron Saint.

They present a modern programme, and have become very popular - their services being in great demand. They were honoured to perform at the 2007 Celtic Countries Congress, and have been filmed for an edition of 'A Place In The Sun'. They have also twice enjoyed the atmospheric experience of performing inside the temperate biome at The Eden Project .

Looe Valley Singers

With a membership of around thirty voices, the Looe Valley Singers are one of the popular ladies choirs in the region. For nearly 25 years, they have been an important part of the local community, giving regular performances of modern, traditional and sacred music. Their concerts have raised thousands of pounds for local and national charities.
